Accessibility

Last reviewed 26 October 2026.

This site is meant to work for everyone, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, zoom or high contrast. It aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What the site does

  • Everything works with a keyboard, including the video player. Inside the player, the arrow keys move to the previous or next video.
  • A visible focus outline shows where you are, and a "Skip to content" link is the first thing you reach.
  • Buttons, links and images have names a screen reader can read, and the player announces each video it changes to.
  • Text and controls meet WCAG contrast levels against the black background.
  • Pages work in English and Spanish, and each passage is marked with its language so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
  • The layout reflows down to a screen 320 pixels wide, the same as 400% zoom, without sideways scrolling.
  • If your device is set to reduce motion, the scroll and hover animations are turned off.
  • Nothing plays until you press Play.

How it was checked

  • An automated WCAG 2.2 AA audit of every page, which found no issues on 26 October 2026.
  • Every feature used with the keyboard alone and by mouse, at phone and laptop sizes, in both languages.
  • Reflow at 320 pixels wide, and the cookie notice checked so it never hides the item you have focused.

Known limits

  • The video player comes from YouTube, so its own controls are YouTube's responsibility.
  • Captions come from what each artist published on YouTube. This site cannot add captions to those videos.
  • A full test with a screen reader by a person has not been done yet.

Accesibilidad
